Introducing the note-taker

It is important for the group to understand why notes are being taken and what is going to happen to them afterwards. It is wise to assure people that comments are not being made about them and that the notes will be available for people to see. The note-taker is performing a service for the group: the notes are to help the facilitator and group recall the points made.
